with 25 years of clinical experience. She is committed to providing patient-centred, evidence-based dermatological care for individuals of all ages.

After completing her specialist dermatology training, Dr Chitreddy undertook further training in Melbourne and has since built a
long-standing career across both public and private dermatology settings in Australia. Her extensive experience spans medical,
surgical dermatology, and she maintains a strong focus on delivering the highest standard of care.

Her clinical practice encompasses acne, rosacea, eczema, psoriasis, hyperhidrosis, hidradenitis suppurativa, skin cancer management,
and a strong focus on hair and scalp disorders — including alopecia areata, male and female pattern hair loss, scarring alopecia,
and complex scalp conditions. She also provides comprehensive care for children with eczema, acne and hair loss, and has a
dedicated interest in women’s dermatology, including hormonal acne, vulval dermatology and hair loss in women.

Beyond her clinical practice, Dr Chitreddy has contributed meaningfully to academic dermatology. During her early training years,
she was involved in research exploring acne and immunological patterns in syphilis serology, and she participated actively in
medical education. She also served as a contributing editor for a chapter on structural hair abnormalities in the respected textbook
“Hair and Scalp Disorders” by Dr Amy J. McMichael and Dr Maria K. Hordinsky.

Dr Chitreddy is known for her warm, attentive manner and clear communication style. She takes time to ensure patients fully
understand their diagnosis and treatment options, creating a supportive and reassuring clinical experience.

She is proud to bring her extensive experience to Balwyn Dermatology, where she offers personalised, high-quality and timely
specialist skin care to the community.
